2015 - 33 Entries and Counting …..

33 boats are entered for the 2015 IRC Double Handed National Championships to be held on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September.  There will be 4 Artemis Figaros including Artemis 23 sailed by Mike Golding and Andrew Baker.

Racing will be conducted with 3 classes so the racing on the water should be tight.

The organisers have agreed to further extend the early entry deadline to midnight on Sunday 13th September.  They have also agreed to reduce the fee for those entering after that time to £250.  With three races over two days, complimentary berthing for two nights and two dinners for each crew, this is great value for money.

Specifically, the entry fee includes the following:

  • Two days racing in the Solent with two races on Friday 18th September (one laid marks course and one round the cans course) with one long ’tide neutral’ race on Saturday 19th September.
  • Complimentary berthing in Cowes Yacht Haven for the nights of Friday and Saturday
  • Complimentary supper at RORC in Cowes, formally the Royal Corinthian YC, on Friday evening.
  • Complimentary Prize Giving Dinner on Saturday at RORC in Cowes.

Racing will be run by the experienced RSYC race management team.Single Event Rating for those without an IRC certificate is available at low cost.  Check it out at http://www.dhnationals.co.uk/irc-single-event-rating.html
