Nab Tower to be the Passage Race

Saturday’s passage race is to be to the Nab Tower and back.  The start will be combined for all classes and will be using the Squadron Start line, with cannons and flags as is the norm on that line.

It should be a great spectacle to both witness and be part of, with all the IRC Double Handed National Championship boats starting together.  The warning signal on that day for all boats will be at 0855, so family and friends can watch the start from the Squadron castle on the shoreline.

This race will also be the RSYC Nab Tower Race.  Their two IRC Classes will start at the same time and on the same line, thus allowing results to be meaningful for both events.  RSYC Club Class boats will start later.

The entry fee includes two event branded shirts per boat; berthing in Cowes Yacht Haven Marina; tickets to both supper on Friday evening and the event dinner on Saturday evening.  Prizegiving will be as soon as possible after racing on Sunday.

Further details can be found in the Notice of Race which can be found here
